Ready for Christmas!!

This weekend,

Reed and I went to go get our Christmas Tree.

I made us take his car,

so the Christmas Tree didn't scratch my car :)

We finally found one and strapped it to the top of the car.

This is what it looked like;

The friendly Zamzows guy strapped it to our car,

while we were inside paying for it.

He forgot that there was a passenger,

and tied the tree to the passenger side door,

without allowing room for me to get in the car.

So, I climbed over the seats from the driver's side door.

Good thing we got it fairly close to our house,

because it started slipping on the way home.

It was awesome!

Trip #1

we bought a tree stand.

Except one of the screws wasn't threaded,

the grooves just went around in a circle.

Trip #2

We got another tree stand,

Except, the only problem with it was, the stand would only fit a tree,

less than 4in. in diameter.

We measured the base of our tree and it was 4' 3/8".

In other words, the tree was not fitting in our stand.

Trip #3

We then had to go back to the store,

and buy another base.

A completely different type.

We finally got out tree standing up,

decorated it with lights,

and a few christmas ornaments.

SUCCESS!!
