Happy Birthday to Me!

So, Wednesday was my birthday and it was quite the day.

First of all I had to work so that wasn't fun,

(side note: I don't think anyone should have to work on their birthday.)

back to my story,

I got off work at 5pm, and when I got home,

I couldn't even go inside my own house.

Reed had to come out the door and make me close my eyes.

Once I opened my eyes,

low and behold,

there was a piano sitting in my living room.

I absolutely love it.

I have wanted a piano ever since we got married.

Then we ate some cake....

Reed made this cake and it took him 6 hours.

Well, I am not sure it took all that time,

he was just gone for 6 hours.

It was beautiful.

and delicious :)

Last but not least,

we went out to dinner to (what seems to be) our favorite restaurant.

I had the prime rib (my favorite),

and Reed got the 22oz. cowboy steak that he always gets.

And to top it off,

we had chocolate souffle!!

YUM!

It is divine,

and is a must have dessert,

even if your tummy is stuffed!

I had a wonderful day,

and I must say that my husband is pretty good at planning birthdays.
