I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!

Table Rock has always been my favorite place in Boise, Idaho, but now more than ever it holds special memories for me.

Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 6:30AM, Reed called me and told me to be ready in 20 minutes and to dress warm. There were many thoughts going through my head at that time and I even remember says, "You have got to be kidding me." I hurried and got ready and went out to the couch where I laid waiting for him the rest of the 10 minutes. Once he picked me up, he didn't tell me where we were going but once we got closer to Reserve Rd. I knew exactly what we were going to do. We parked at the gate to Table Rock and hiked to the top. The view was so cool and nothing like anything I have seen before. It was foggy that morning and from the top it was clear and all you could see was a layer of fog....you couldn't even see the city. Reed brought a duffle bag full of "supplies" and whipped out a blanket to sit on. We sat there for awhile, freezing our butts off and he said he brought something for me. He pulled out a gerber daisy (my favorite flower) and a card. The card had some mushy stuff written on it but also read, "If we were in school I wouldn't say I love you. I would say I like-like you." The inside read, "Either way, I would totally make out with you."

Then he pulled out another set of flowers. This time it was 6 red roses and a letter came with it saying more mush stuff (which I loved). Then he pulled out another set of roses, this time a dozen white roses and got down on one knee. I have to stop right here and tell you that my heart was pounding and those butterflies came fluttering back from the first time I knew that I was in love with him. Okay back to the story, Then he asked me to marry him!!!!!

The moment was perfect and can't be compared to anything else I have ever experienced. By this time we were frozen and so we headed back down to the truck and went to Goldies for breakfast...YUMMMM!!!!

The rest of the day consisted of telling our family and friends about the engagement and showing off the ring of course, oh and telling the story over and over and over again!!!

We are getting married June 10th, 2011 in the Boise Idaho Temple and I am the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with a man I call my best friend, someone I can tell pretty much anything to, and a man that makes me feel like a queen even when wearing sweats!!!

I thought life was pretty good before this point but it is about to get even better.
