Today I am grateful for
Early Intervention
in the public school system.
About a year ago
we noticed that Parker
did not talk as much as other
kids his age.
We looked into the
Infant and Toddler Program
through Idaho to get him tested.
Sure enough,
Parker was a little behind
in his language development.
They sent out a Speech Therapist
twice a month.
We then got him enrolled in Preschool,
which is for kids who still
need a little help by the time
they turn 3 years old.
Parker has now been
attending Preschool
through the West Ada School District
since the beginning of the school year.
He has come a long ways!!
We are so excited to see improvement in him.
Not only does he talk more,
but he tries new words and
things that he never used to do.
I am so proud of the progress he has made
and I know that he will
be so ready for school.
