Reed and I are enjoying being homeowners

because it means we can change whatever we want!

This winter break our project

was to replace the back splash in

BOTH our bathrooms.

It was a white tile before,

but it was falling off the wall.

It didn't take too much

to rip those tiles

off the wall.

Once we ripped the tiles off we had to scrape

all the excess mud that was on the wall.

The first day we stuck the tiles on the wall.

It took 24 hours for it to completely dry.

The next day we grouted the tiles.

Non of it was really hard,

it was time consuming and very

detail oriented.

The third day we caulked all around the tile

and I touched up the paint to make

it all look pretty.

And just like that we were all done.

Like I said, It was pretty easy

just very time consuming and 

we had to pay attention to details.

There really is no going back.

Oh, and it wasn't that expensive either!
